Review
Oh, Home! A movie of great mirth and delight. Where shall I begin to recount its tale?
Amidst the vast expanse of space, wherein countless celestial bodies doth twirl, there lies a planet known as Earth. ‘Twas inhabited by humans and many other beings, who had various shapes and sizes. But alas! This land was invaded by the Boovs- a group of aliens who sought refuge from their enemies.
The leader of these Boovs- Oh- was a peculiar one. He was neither brave nor wise, but rather bumbling and prone to mistakes. Thus begins our tale.
As the Boovs took over Earth with their advanced technology and colorful ways, Oh found himself in a predicament. He had sent out an invite for his housewarming party to the entire galaxy, including the enemy race known as Gorg.
In his haste to cover up his mistake, he had befriended a feisty young human girl named Tip. Together they journeyed across the world in search of Tip’s mother from whom she was separated during the invasion.
Their adventure led them through many wondrous places like Paris and Hawaii while on their heels were Captain Smek and his fellow Boovs trying to capture them both.
As they traveled on their journey, they discovered many truths about each other’s culture and beliefs that changed their perceptions forever. They learned that despite being different from one another in every way possible, they held similar desires- to be loved and accepted for who they truly are.
With its comedic turn of events and heartfelt moments, Home is a sight not easily forgotten. The voice acting of Jim Parsons as Oh and Rihanna as Tip is superbly done with great chemistry between the two leads.
The film boasts an impressive soundtrack featuring hits like “Towards The Sun” by Rihanna herself which adds more depth to the story during emotional scenes.
The animation team has done an excellent job with the visual effects and cinematography, showcasing not just the beauty of Earth but also the colorful and quirky Boov way of life.
Home has received praise from critics and audiences alike for its unique take on an alien invasion story, with a message of acceptance and unity that resonates even in today’s society.
It may not be Shakespeare’s masterpiece, but Home does tell a tale worth hearing. A story that teaches us to look beyond our differences and embrace each other’s uniqueness.
In conclusion, if thou dost seek for a movie that will make you laugh, cry and learn about the value of true friendship in an extraordinary setting- Home is the perfect choice.
